We sat down with our Design Director, Bonnie Godsil, for her expert advice on what to wear for autumn, the best pieces to invest in this season and her favourite trends of the moment.

What's your go-to everyday outfit?

"Our tailored overshirt and wide trouser. The fabric is beautiful and plush so it’s a good weight for all weathers. I love the coordination of it, you feel outfitted immediately, but the trouser is also a great back up to poplin for an alternative workwear look, or switch to a sexy body for something more directional."

What approach do you take to party dressing?

"I’m a dressed down party girl. For me it’s always separates and this season, I’m all about the ‘precious’ skirt. We have a few variations, from drama draped maxi skirts to textured sequin pencils. My favourite is our electric pink jacquard mini, paired with bare legs, ballerinas and a sleeveless plush knit or sheer blouse."

What's your staple coat this season?

"Our asymmetric fastened Crombie. It's sharp, smart and quiet enough to go with everything."

What do you love about this season’s leather pieces?

"Leather is such an investment and I’m really proud of the new proportions we have delivered this year. Especially the slightly more oversized jackets and trenches, which work brilliantly with layers as it gets colder. The more relaxed shapes make these pieces easy to build into your everyday."

What's your favourite colour for autumn?

"I’m torn between the earthy olive and rich oxblood red. Which is fine as we have both!"

What autumn trend are you currently loving?

"Sheerness. It’s been a steadily building trend for a while and for a lot of women it just feels intimidating. We have worked on some really premium pieces that are easy to outfit, or have built in layers to make them more opaque in the right places.
